Black Jack is played with a 312 card pack (6 packs of 52 cards) from 2 through Ace
except Jokers.
The dealer plays with each player who has placed a bet on one of the boxes.
The value of a bet is limited by the minimum and maximum indicated on the layout.
The minimum number of boxes is one. No more than three players may bet on one layout,
and the total amount of these bets cannot exceed the maximum of the layout. No more than
three players may bet on one box, and the total amount of these bets cannot exceed the
minimum of the layout.
If two or three players are playing on one of the boxes, the preference right to decision-
making is given to the player who was first to bet on this box, i.e. “the owner”.
Course of the game
The players’ task is to get a hand value higher than that of the dealer without going over 21.
The cards are valued as follows:
Ace – 1 or 11
Court cards – 10 points
Other cards are valued as indicated.
If the player’s aggregate score does not go over 21 and is higher than that of the dealer, the
player receives the payout in the amount 1:1.
If the player’s score is smaller than that of the dealer, the player’s wager loses.
In case of equal values the player’s wager is kept.
Should the dealer bust (i.e. the value goes over 21), the player is paid the win in the amount 1:1.
Should the player bust, his wager loses.
If the player gets a BLACK JACK (i.e. a combination of two cards whose value makes up
21) after the first deal, and the dealer does not have a BLACK JACK, the player is paid
winnings in the amount of 1.5 of the wager.
If the dealer’s total score is under 17, he/she must take one more card; if the score is equal
to or over 17, the dealer must stop.
After acquiring 21 points the player is given no more cards.
Surrender
Surrender means the player’s refusal to play on one of the boxes (or on all of his/her
boxes) at the cost of half of the best.
The player may surrender at any moment before the third card is placed on the box with
prior notification of the dealer.
After the decision is made the player cannot return to the previous box. The player may
surrender regardless of the dealers’ card, exciption is Ace.
The player couldn't surrender if the dealer gets an Ace.
Split
Should the player’s first two cards be of equal value the dealer suggests a split.
This means that the player may make one more bet equal in value to the initial one.
The hand is split into two separate boxes played individually.
If a split card is followed by a card of equal value the player may resplit.
The number of splits is unlimited. When splitting 2 Aces only one additional card may be
drawn on each Ace.
If another Ace is drawn on the split Ace the player may resplit or keep 12 points.
Double
Double allows the player to double his/her bets on any two cards except BJ and a split Ace.
The dealer suggests double for 9, 10 and 11. The player may also double when splitting.
The player may “double for less”, i.e. double a wager for any amount less than the original
wager amount.
In this case wagers are payable on actual basis. Double cannot be less than the minimum of the layout.
Insurance
If the dealer’s first card is an Ace the player may insure his/her wager from eventual
BLACK JACK with the dealer.
Insurance amount cannot exceed half of the initial bet and is placed on the Insurance Line.
If the dealer gets a BLACK JACK the player’s initial bet loses and Insurance is paid in the
amount 2:1.
The player cannot insure his/her BLACK JACK. He/she may immediately receive even
money (1:1).
If the dealer does not have a BLACK JACK the player loses his/her insurance and the game
continues by usual rules.
The Insurance cannot be less than half the minimum of the layout.
