Course of the game
At the beginning of the game when all players have bet their Ante the dealer deals out five
cards for each player and him/herself. The maximum number of boxes is 4.
The last card is placed face up. Then players look into their cards and decide upon continuing the game:
- The player may choose to fold by discarding the cards and losing his/her Ante wager
- The player may continue the game by making a Bet equal to two Ante wagers
- The player may change from one to five cards for a wager equal to Ante
- The player may purchase an extra sixth card for a wager equal to Ante.
In the last two cases the player must make another decision whether to continue playing or not.
Afterwards players who have rather strong hands (from “three of a kind” and higher) may
insure them from no game with the dealer. Minimum insurance amount is equal to one
Ante, maximum insurance amount is the expected payout for the Bet.
When all players have made up their mind the dealer reveals his/her cards and if there is any
playing hand compares it with players’ hands in turn.
The dealer’s smallest game is Ace/King.
If the dealer has no game he/she pays out the insurance after which each player (including
those who have insured their hands) may try to purchase a game for the dealer for a wager equal to Ante.
In such case the dealer discards his/her highest card and replaces it with the top card from the deck.
If the exchange card value is equal to that of the discarded one and the dealer still did not
get a playing hand he/she replaces it with the next top card from the deck. For instance, if
the dealer has discarded a Kind and received another King he/she discards this card as well
and takes another one. If it is King again the procedure is repeated.
If the dealer gets a playing hand, flush for instance, the exchange stops.
When the dealer has no game an Ante for all playing boxes is paid out in the amount 1:1.
If the dealer has a game and his/her hand is higher than that of the player the player loses his/her Ante and Bet.
In such case the insurance is not lost but is returned to the player.
If the player’s hand is higher than that of the dealer only the Bet is paid in accordance with
