Course of the game

Six card stud Players make their Ante; the dealer deals out five cards clockwise to players and him/herself and turns his/her fifth card face up.

Afterwards the player looks into his/her cards and makes a decision:

  • The player may choose to fold by discarding the cards and losing his/her Ante wager
  • The player may continue the game by making a Bet
  • The player may purchase an extra sixth card for a wager equal to Ante
  • The player may exchange the sixth card for a wager equal to 1.5 of the Ante
When all players have changed their cards and decided upon continuing the game the dealer reveals his/her cards.
The dealer’s smallest game is two of 2. If the dealer has a game he/she compares his/her hand with the player’s hands.
If the dealer’s hand is higher than that of the player he/she takes both the Ante and the Bet.
If it is smaller he/she pays out the Ante in the amount 1:1 and the Bet according to the layout table. If the dealer has no game he/she pays out an Ante equal to 1:1 to each player.
The player may also purchase a game for the dealer for a wager equal to an Ante. In such case the dealer discards his/her smallest card and replaces it with the top card from the deck.
Is the purchase did not result in a game the dealer does not pay anything but just takes cards from the player. Payout amount (for Ante plus Bet wagers) for one box cannot exceed the Maximum Payout fixed for the given table.
